Hello Dear Masters,
I know it's been a long time since I posted. It seems life is going at record speed now. Where did this last year go? It's hard to believe that the Lightworkers Conference has come and gone in a blink (Oct. 5th weekend). It was our best ever this year with 20 states attending and 10 countries. It's opened many doors and bridges to other countries. It continues to grow each year. The speakers were stellar this year and left us all with inspiration for creating anew.
I hadn't even had time to rest when I started the next project after Jewls emailed me and planted the seed to see if I'd bring many artists from around the world together and to unite many through an art project to be debuted at the Eden Event. To coordinate many artist seemed overwhelming to me and I hadn't even had time to rest from the Lightworkers Conference.
Finally, I had an idea of how to bring many together and that was to start collecting threads and items to be incorporated into one large artistic piece called "Threads for Unity". Many countries have been sending thread, materials, jewelry, even sand to me to somehow add to a new painting I'll start soon. What is happening is simply amazing.
The painting, which I haven't even started yet as I'm still collecting materials, has brought many organizations together, many countries, many cultures. Threads from Bosnia, Croatia, Nepal, China, India, and so many places are starting to arrive. I'm also working with a business woman from India whose mother is involved at the United Nations. We'll be doing a lot of work together to bring the different cultures together through art. I'm working with many countries to network to bring their products here to help areas that are devastated from war. In Bosnia, families are sleeping in barns with their cows in the next room. So many have lost families from the war there and orphanages fill the town of Sarajevo. The Bosnian community from Chicago will help me reach many overseas. I've heard from Kenya, Africa where children will do their own thread painting in the form of a spider web representing the coming together of many cultures in unity. A man from Morocco sent me a necklace with a symbol for unity in their culture. A woman from Germany sent me a pewter ornament of hearts connecting as one for unity. Somehow these will all come together in one piece. Many cultures are writing out their symbol for me or word for "peace or unity".
If anyone would like to add their threads to this project, please email me. Hopefully, I'll get this done in time to debut at the Eden Event in Yellowstone and also display the photos of other projects that this has inspired from around the world, along with photos of the many wonderful people I've met so far. On Thanksgiving, I hosted a family from West Berlin, France and their Japanese and Korean children and just spent a week with a wonderful healer from Philippines who worked on 40 clients a day at my home. We'll also be networking and she's already shipped a lot of my art to her country. I'll be going there next November. We just had someone here from the Ukraine with their precious daughter Cora who spoke Russian to me but still, I understood this beautiful little angel. The Japanese children are already calling me Auntie Joannee.. lol.
I'm looking for metallic threads, pearlized threads (think angelic colors). I'll be posting more to let you know how this project is going. Mark your calendars for Dec. 13th as I'll be doing a teleconference hosted by Trish Poole to discuss the art, the global art project and more. To register for this free conference, simply email Trish at: watrish@aol.com Put "Teleconference" in the subject line of the email. Much Love, Joannee Macko www.angelic-art.com
